Taipei
Taipei
reminds me of a mix of Thailand and South Korea. The architecture is funnily
random, old dirty buildings with a lot of wild vegetation, a strange but
beautiful dystopian city. Errand dogs walks between tattoo shops, feed by old
cooks after their night shifts in small busy restaurants. Hobos and Freelance
artists live together in Ximending, one of the trending districts of the city.
You can walk by groups of high schoolers there, gay couples, high fashion
hipsters and street food vendors.
Taipei is a capital where modern and tradition blends perfectly together. Buddhist temples and luxury boutiques, old japanese expats and sexily tattoed youngster, everything mixes together in a curious but interesting hotpot.
