2. Jangsan Station Exit 7 Walk straight and you will see a bus stop. Take the GREEN village bus no. 7 and take off at Yonggungsa National Fisheries Research & Development Center. |
There are two ways to access to Yonggungsa. Normally, it is much more convenient to get off at Jangsan Station and take a bus to the temple as less time will be spent on the bus. However, if you happened to be around Haeundae area and plan to drop by the temple, I suggest you to choose route 1. Just take a bus from the station and it will be less complicated.
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is famous as the best sunrise viewing spot in Busan. Many people head to the temple early in the morning just to catch the sunrise while surround themselves with the natural beauty of East Sea and not to mention, the sound of the ocean waves crashing against rocks.
Other than the scenery, one of the things that really got my attention during my visit was definitely these two sketch artists. I’m always really into art so I just couldn’t hold my urge to not talk to them. After a short conversation with them, I learned that both of them are travelers and it is their ways of recording down the scenery of every countries that they’ve been to, instead of using a camera.
When you drop by Busan with your loved ones, make sure you put Yonggungsa in your list. ^^
Cheers!
