Is it cafe named after the Abbesses neighborhood in Paris ? No idea ! This cafe serves brunch and dishes (pilaf rice for example), coffee, beer and wine. The interior is nice, a random mix of furniture with a lot of charm. Low tables look comfortable for coffee time but not convenient to eat on. So we decided to sit on the small terrace (It looked less cosy with all those old rusty chairs but it was not bad). The menu is simple, displayed inside the cafe. It's in korean but pictures help to make a choice for those who cannot read hangeul. We choose a 트리플치즈베이글 (triple cheese bagel) and a 슈발리에 burger with Peppermint Tea. The total price was around 20 000 won. |
A small salad came with our dishes, I didn't like it that much. Not enough dressing (a sour one). But I liked black olives and tomatoes.
To conclude, I don't really know what to think of that place. The strange sweet and salty association was a put off for me, but I discussed about it with one of my friend who tried Cheeseburger with chocolate and really liked it. I will not go back for Brunch but I might try to eat cake here, because they looked really yummy on pictures !
