A waitress brought us a menu as soon as we sat down and we selected some dishes. The menu is big, you have a lot of choices.
-Haemul Tcheollpan Bokkum Udong (해물철판 볶음우동) 5900 wons
-Maekeomtan Bulgogi Dokkbap (매콤연탄불고기덮밥) 4300 wons
-Maneul Bbang (마늘빵) 1500 wons
The first dish was Udon noodles with a sweet sauce and stir fried with seafood (mussels, baby shrimps and cuttle fish). It was not spicy, good but nothing special. It’s what I call a canteen’s dish. You can eat it but it’s not that awesome. The mussels had a very strong sea taste.
I also realized those dishes didn’t look like the menu’s picture. A part from that, the service was fast and I think it’s open 24h because we went there at 3pm and it was full of people. You also need to pay before you eat and the menu is in english. To get a second opinion about this place, we went there a second time. This time, I ordered a Cheese Donkkatsu(치즈 돈가스) at 6 300 wons. It was not bad... the cheese was perfectly melted but there wasn’t a lot inside. And I ate way more delicious Donkkatsu in other restaurants. |
