Korean Stir Fry PorkThere are many names given for stir fry pork in Korean. The most common are called turuchigi, bulgogi, jeyuk bokkeum, but let's just say they are all the same, well at least for ME. Today, we are going to introduce another kind of Korean stir fry pork - it is called Jikhwa Bulgogi. You ask me how is it different from the others? Well, Do tell me when you try it by yourselves. *Wink* |
Jikhwa Jeyuk Pukkum (7k won; serves one person) is what we ordered. As for the sauces, there are normal and spicy taste. For people who can't handle spiciness, we will suggest you to just go for the normal one, because we got a swollen tongue after having a spicy Jikhwa Jeyuk Pukkum. AND trust me, I'm from Malaysia, when I say spicy, it must be REALLYYYY spicy......
Jikhwa DakSunSal Pukkum (8k won, serves 1 person) is same as the Jikhwa Jeyuk Pukkum, the only different is instead of pork, it is boneless chicken.
P/s: We tried to order one serving of Jikhwa Jeyuk Pukkum and Jikhwa DakSunSal Pukkum respectively, but Baobap required us to order a minimum 2 servings for one dish. Make sure you remember that.
As for the side dishes, there are Steamed Egg and also KimChi Stew. For those who wants to try as many dishes as possible, try Baobap's set menu.
Set 1: Jikhwa Bulgogi (serves 2 people) + KimChi Stew (serves 1 person) = 19k won
Set 2: Jikhwa Jeyuk Pukkum (serves 2 people) + KimChi Stew (serves 1 person) = 20k won
Set 3: Gogi Hanpan (serves 2-3 ppl) + KimChi Stew (serves 1 person) = 31k won
Set 4: Gogi Kunpan (serves 3-4 ppl) + KimChi Stew (serves 1 person) = 36k won
